Identification of intellectually handicapped children
At Hari Manovikasa Kendram, we work to find and support children with intellectual disabilities, especially in tribal and backward areas. Many parents in these places do not know about their child’s condition or the help available to them. They often face money problems and cannot travel to our center for counseling or admission. Because of this, many children remain without proper care and guidance.
To solve this, our team visits these villages, talks to parents, and helps them understand their child’s needs. We also teach parents simple ways to support their child in daily life and guide them on the next steps, such as therapy, special education, and available government programs. Our goal is to reach every child who needs us, no matter where they live, and help families feel hopeful and confident about their child’s future.
